Jimmy Van Heusen Preschool Playpark needs an Upgrade!

HELP US BUY NEW SURFACING AND PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT

The Village of Nyack has approved approximately $45,000 to provide a new rubber surfacing for the Jimmy Van Heusen playground at Memorial Park. This improvement will be much safer and cleaner for our kids to play on. Before the new surface can go down, the equipment currently in the south end of the playground needs to be replaced because it is not up to current government regulations. The Friends of the Nyacks is working with the Village Parks Commission to choose and help buy a new piece of equipment. We are also listening to other suggestions for improvement at this crucial juncture. We hope to include as many ideas as possible.

Here's how you can help:

Make a contribution by May 30th! Families or individuals who choose to contribute $250 or more will be recognized on carved wooden signs surrounding the playground. Your support of the playground will be visible for years to come as you enjoy the playground with your kids and grandkids. Smaller donations are also welcomed - it all adds up!!!

Checks can be made out to "Friends of the Nyacks" and sent to PO Box 120, Nyack, 10960 along with your name to be included on your sign - no more than 20 letters please
